Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom Bath Bomb from Lush

For Mother’s Day 2024, Lush have created three Blooming Beautiful bath bombs. Each have a different scent and they come in either a pink, yellow or a blue.

Today I am reviewing the pink one, the Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom Bath Bomb.

Each of the Blooming Beautiful bath bombs are decorated with the same white petaled daisy on its top.

When the 2024 Mother’s Day collection was first announced, the Blooming Beautiful bath bombs were the first of the new limited-edition products to catch my attention.

The daisy hat that each of them wear is so detailed, looking at the bath bomb through Lush’s website it was hard to believe that each of them are handmade.

The Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb is a bold and bright shade of pink and contains sweet wild orange oil, lime oil and orange flower absolute.

Its scent is very similar to what is used in the Tea Party bath bombBubbly shower gel and Celebrate foaming body scrub. Although, it’s not nearly as punchy. It’s a very light and gentle citrus fragrance, with a sweeter scent-layer than the three products I just compared it to, which I believe comes from the orange flower absolute.

The one thing I didn’t want to mention but it happened to my blue version of the Blooming Beautiful bath bomb too so will, is how fragile the daisy-flower is on the top of this bath bomb. One of my pink ones arrived with the daisy smashed to bits which is a shame as the flower part of the bath bomb is so beautiful when you receive it how it should be.

Luckily my friend got me an absolutely perfect Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb for my birthday on the 5th, so this is the one I photographed in this post!

As soon as the Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with a hiss of pink coloured foam.

The Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb doesn’t offer anything too artsy bath-art-wise, but it does create lots of pink, yellow and white bubbles as it dissolves away.

While the bath bomb is in action, its scent is still subtle but manages to fill your bathroom, it’s a very Springtime appropriate scent that I can never resist.

Amazingly, the Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb took over 20 minutes to fully dissolve, I found myself topping up the bath with hot water as it fizzed away, something I’m not used to with Lush bath bombs.

I imagined that the waters left behind by the Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb would be bright pink like the bath bomb, but they were more of a coral-orange.

I found the coral-orange waters left behind by the Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb to be incredibly soft, a good soak in its waters left my skin feeling smooth and my body super relaxed. It’s the perfect product to use to lift you out of your Winter slump and throw you into a brighter Spring.

The scent wasn’t at all detectable on my skin once I was all dried off, but my skin remained silky smooth to the touch after use.

Overall, I did really enjoy using the Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom bath bomb and can’t wait to get a hold of an unbroken version of the blue one so I can use it and review that one too!

One Long Soak Bath Bomb from Lush

The One Long Soak Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2024 Mother’s Day line.

The first thing I noticed about it when I see it online was how many colours it had, move over The Experimenter bath bomb, there’s a new rainbow-bath-bomb in town and I believe it is after your crown…

Once the One Long Soak bath bomb arrived, I audibly gasped at its size. IT’S HUGE!

The One Long Soak bath bomb is designed to look just like an old school fairground ticket. It is bright blue, with the pink words ‘one long soak’ chiselled into it.

The bath bomb also has punch holes in it just like an actual fairground ticket does and some are coloured pink, green, yellow and I can also see orange and purple too.

I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but I knew as soon as I see this bath bomb that it was going to be incredible during use.

You can see from the photo above just how big the One Long Soak bath bomb is in comparison to my hand.

The One Long Soak bath bomb contains the following essential oils: lemon myrtle, ylang ylang and grapefruit.

One Long Soak shares its scent with the Mermaid bath bombSnow Dragon bath bomb and Mermaid Tail bubble bar products, (just to name a few!)

The One Long Soak bath bomb’s scent is best described as refreshing and zingy. It’s sharp, citrusy, and packed full of energy.

If you’re feeling groggy from the Winter months a bath with the One Long Soak bath bomb will do more than put a spring in your step.

As soon as the One Long Soak bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with an explosion of blue foam.

Slowly, the blue foam thins out and pinks, yellows, oranges, greens, and purples begin to spill out of the One Long Soak bath bomb too.

The scent of the bath bomb really comes to life once placed into the water, it’s so crisp and sharp, it’s one incredibly refreshing bath bomb.

The bath art never seems to end, all of the colours of the rainbow stream out of the One Long Soak bath bomb right up until the end, creating rainbow swirls and a kaleidoscope of colourful bubbles too.

With the One Long Soak bath bomb being so big, it took just over 15 minutes to fully dissolve, I think it may have gone on for a little longer had I not decided to crush it to hurry the bath along.

What with all of the colours coming out of the One Long Soak bath bomb, I was expecting the bath water to be brown or grey, however, it was a khaki green!

The One Long Soak bath water not only smells delicious but also leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. You can visibly see that your skin appears brighter.

My skin still feels silky smooth several hours after getting out of the bath and the scent although subtle remains on my skin too.

Overall, I am so in love with the One Long Soak bath bomb and can see it working well as an all-year-round product not just for Mother’s Day. I’m very, very impressed!

Snuggles Shower Gel from Lush

The Snuggles Shower Gel started off its Lush life as a product from the 2024 Mother’s Day line and upon its release will be available in 3 different sized bottles, 115g, 275g and 550g.

I was lucky enough to get to try the Snuggles shower gel before its initial release as Lush gifted me a bottle, it’s set to be available in all UK stores from the 1st of February.

The Snuggles shower gel is described as a comforting, buttery cuddle. If you’ve used the Butterball bath bomb, you’ll recognise its scent straight away.

Snuggles isn’t the first Butterball scented shower gel to be released, the original was called Butterball shower gel. It was popular but incredibly thick making it hard to get out of the bottle.

Snuggles shower gel has the same great scent as the Butterball shower gel but has a brand new ‘cocoa butter suspension formulation’. The formula is a lot thinner; it could easily be a body milk.

Snuggles shower gel contains fine sea salt, fair trade organic cocoa butter and Ghanaian ylang ylang oil. It is sweet but not in an unpleasant way, it reminds me of vanilla ice cream but also has elements of chocolate to its scent too.

A very small amount of Snuggles goes a long way, I have even tried it without wetting my hands first just to get a feel of its true consistency; There has never been a creamier shower gel from Lush, without water it was like I was lathering up a heavy duty moisturiser.

Just a splash of warm water helps to really lather the Snuggles shower gel up, it glides over your skin leaving it clean, hydrated and so very soft.

I could see the Snuggles shower gel being perfect for anyone with sensitive skin but always recommend a patch test before use.

Its scent really shines through when combined with the hot water and steam from your shower and it feels incredible lathered up on your skin.

There is no need at all to moisturise after using this shower gel, making it not only an amazing smelling shower gel but also a product that saves you much needed time as well.

I can still smell the Butterball scent on my skin long after getting out of the shower, my skin feels soft and appears perfectly hydrated well into the next day too.

If you are looking for a creamier shower gel that not only cleans but hydrates and soothes skin too, look no further.

Overall, I am very impressed with the Snuggles shower gel and plan on grabbing a few more bottles before Mother’s Day is through. Lush would be mad to not make this shower gel a main line product. I have my fingers crossed that they do as it’s wonderful!
