Hello! my name is Lulu and I am a 26 year old Lush addict. I have EDS hypermobility type, Fibromyalgia and a few more medical conditions that I won’t bore you with today.
I stumbled across the amazing company that is Lush Cosmetics while doing some research on natural alternatives that I could use alongside my prescription medication. Lush products have changed my life by helping me further control the tiring amount of symptoms I face every day.
I’ve struggled a lot since my health deteriorated to the point of needing to make a wheelchair a permanent fixture in my life. It feels like a lifetime ago that I couldn’t sit still, I’d always be doing something like rock climbing, swimming or dancing. I lost a lot of my confidence and became extremely depressed when I found myself unable to carry on with my much loved hobbies.
Lush have however helped me out of the pity-party rut and I will forever be thankful to them for all they have done for me over the years. Lush Upon A Time is my escape place, I write mostly about Lush but I do sometimes write about my health too. I hope you enjoy exploring my blog as much as I do writing it 🙂
