Rebirth Bath Bomb from Lush

Every year Lush release a Lunar New Year bath bomb, each bath bomb is inspired by the zodiac animal of the year that it is released.

We got the Inner Dragon bath bomb in 2024, the Gold Rabbit bath bomb in 2023, and the Lucky Tiger bath bomb in 2022.

With 2025 being the year of the snake, the snake-shaped Rebirth Bath Bomb was created!

The Rebirth bath bomb is designed to resemble a coiled up snake with its head exposed. Its smooth body is covered in large circles representing the snakes’ scales.

With the snake coiled up like this, it still gives the bath bomb a strong, spherical shape.

Designing it like this was a wise choice from Lush as I think a long, thin snake (similar to the original Northern Lights bath bomb) would have made it an impossibly fragile bath bomb.

All the Lunar New Year bath bombs over the years have featured similar colour palettes, with plenty of warm yellows, oranges, and reds, always complemented by a generous shimmer of gold.

Rebirth is a golden-yellow throughout and is finished off with a very generous layer of the golden shimmer, I don’t think we’ve ever had a Lunar New Year bath bomb quite as shimmery as this, it’s beautiful!

Rebirth shares the same fragrance as the Golden Wonder bath bomb, belonging to Lush’s ‘Celebrate’ scent family. Other products that share its scent include, the Celebrate shower gel and Buck’s Fizz body conditioner.

Rebirth contains some of the following ingredients: sweet wild orange oil, lime oil and plenty of popping candy.

Its fragrance happens to be one of my all-time favourites from Lush, it’s vibrant, warming and often described as being the bath time equivalent of a glass of bubbling Champagne.

As soon as the Rebirth bath bomb touches the water there is an explosion of thick orangey-yellow foam, as the foam loses its thickness it turns a brighter shade of yellow, losing its original orangey glow.

As the water takes over the bath bomb you begin to see two different colours of bath art coming out of it, there are streaks of bright yellow and also a much more toned down golden yellow colour.

The popping candy in Rebirth doesn’t make an appearance straight away, mine didn’t start crackling away until about five minutes after it was placed into the bath water.

The Rebirth bath bomb takes a good 10 minutes to fully dissolve, and the popping candy continues to put on a show for a couple of minutes after the bath bomb has gone. The water left behind is bright yellow and full of golden shimmer.

The scent from the bath bomb lingers in your bathroom for a couple of hours after using it and remained on my skin for the best part of the rest of the day too. I was surprised at how soft it left my skin; it says on Lush’s website that just like a snake’s skin this bath bomb ‘sheds doubt and stretches your potential’ – Using Rebirth certainly started off my 2025 by leaving me feeling refreshed and ready.

Overall, I loved the Rebirth bath bomb, its scent and shimmering water being some of my favourite parts of it. Next year (2026) will be the year of the horse which happens to be my zodiac animal so I’m very excited to see what Lush come up with this time next year!

Dreaming Of A White Christmas Bath Bomb from Lush

The Dreaming Of A White Christmas Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited edition product from Lush’s 2024 Christmas line, I was fortunate enough to receive one as a gift from Lush.

The Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb is a mostly blue, snow globe shaped bath bomb with a snowman in its centre.

The snowman in the centre of the bath bomb is made of two snowball segments and it is wearing a bright red top hat.

At the base of the snowman it is all white, representing fallen snow. Etched into the bottom of the external part of the snow globe are two stars and the word LUSH in capital letters.

Each Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb is approximately 140g fitting perfectly in my hand.

Some of the ingredients included in the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb are coarse sea salt, cardamom oil, jasmine absolute and ylang ylang oil.

The scent of the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb is warm and creamy which I wasn’t expecting at all. Before I was aware of its ingredients and with it being a snowy themed product I ignorantly assumed it would be a minty, cooling bath bomb. It is however the complete opposite of minty and cool…

At its forefront, the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb’s scent is a rich and musky floral, the cardamom in it adds a layer of warmth to it too. It’s a very hard scent to describe and isn’t a scent-family that Lush have ever put together and used in a Lush product before.

As soon as the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb touches the water it begins to hiss away, releasing a thin stream of blue foam from all around it.

It doesn’t take long for the water to completely take hold of the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb, and once the water has got to it all, the snowman and its red hat doesn’t really produce any extra colour as it’s completely engulfed by the blue part of the bath bomb.

I was a little disappointed at the lack of bath art, but this bath bombs scent is what makes it stand out.

It takes just over ten minutes for the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb to fully dissolve. The jasmine in the bath bomb gets much stronger once wet, it almost has a peppery element to its scent.

The water left behind by the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb is a very similar colour to the end water of the Frozen bath bomb. It’s a cold and icy shade of blue that is in complete contrast to its warm scent.

After leaving the bath, my skin felt soft and hydrated. The scent remained on my skin for a couple of hours too.

Overall, I love the design of the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bomb, a snow globe bath bomb is such a unique idea; What I feel lets it down is how it’s made. None of the Dreaming Of A White Christmas bath bombs that I got were as perfect as the one pictured on Lush’s website.

As you can see if you look above at the 2nd photo in this review, the bath bombs aren’t very neat and look kind of squished. The first two that I picked up you could hardly make out the snowman design on it. I think with a slight tweak this bath bomb could however be incredible.

Maybe next year Lush can come up with a tiny redesign to make sure this bath bomb reaches the bestselling status it deserves!

Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel Bath Bomb from Lush (2024)

The Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel Bath Bomb first came out last year as a part of Lush’s 2023 Hanukkah collection. This year, it’s back but with a slight difference.

For the remainder of this review, I will refer to the bath bomb as just the Dreidel bath bomb (to make it easier for me to write, and you to read this review!)

This bath bomb was inspired by a dreidel which is a spinning-top-toy that is traditionally played with on the Jewish festival of Hanukkah.

A dreidel (just like this bath bomb) has four sides, and each side has a different Hebrew letter on it.

I normally only include one top photo of a Lush product in my reviews but couldn’t resist sharing two with you in this review because I wanted you to be able to see the design a little better.

This year, the Dreidel bath bomb is a gorgeous shade of midnight blue, very similar in colour to the Christmas Eve bubble bar.

Each of the Hebrew letters on the Dreidel bath bomb are made to stand out and are coated in silver.

The Dreidel bath bomb from last year was purple with gold letters, a review on it can be found here: Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel bath bomb (2023).

The Dreidel bath bomb shares its scent with the Apple Crumble bubble bar.

The best way to describe its scent is as baked apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. It’s a very warm and inviting fragrance that leaves you wanting more.

Ingredients wise, the Dreidel bath bomb contains some of the following: myrrh resinoid, orange flower absolute and cinnamon leaf oil.

Each Dreidel bath bomb is approximately 150g each and fits in my hand perfectly.

Although you cannot get the Dreidel bath bomb to work as a proper spinning top, you can spin it straight into your bath…

As soon as the Dreidel bath bomb meets your bath water you are greeted with a burst of dark blue foam.

As the water takes over the bath bomb, a lighter, sky blue foam starts to appear from the Dreidel bath bomb.

It doesn’t take long for the thin layer of silver on the four Hebrew letters on each side of the Dreidel bath bomb to decorate the surface of the water with tiny patches of silver.

If you’ve ever seen or used foil in arts and crafts, or even in nail art, you’ll understand what I mean when I say that the silver patches remind me of this when the Dreidel bath bomb is placed in water.

The silver disperses into tiny clumps, creating an almost crackled effect. It’s remarkably similar to how the gold coating on The Wizard bath bomb goes once it is placed in the water (but obviously on a much smaller scale as Dreidel isn’t completely covered like The Wizard).

I didn’t manage to capture a decent photograph of this foil/crackle effect happening like I did with last year’s Dreidel bath bomb BUT if you look at the photo below, you can see a little of the silver in the top left!

The Dreidel bath bomb takes approximately 16 minutes to dissolve, a whole four more minutes than last year’s version. While it didn’t create much visual bath art, I did enjoy the initial blue and silver flecked foam near the beginning of its time in the water.

Overall, I really enjoyed using the Dreidel bath bomb, the end water is the most incredible shade of dark blue. The scent also sits well on my skin, and I could still smell it in my bathroom long after the last drop of the bath water went down the plug hole.

Like last years, I’d still have liked to have seen a little more bath art out of it but other than that it was a very enjoyable bath bomb.

My skin felt soft after use and its scent (although subtle) stayed on my skin for the rest of the day too. I’m glad that this bath bomb came back and am wondering whether Lush will change its colour again next year?
