Peaches Body Spray from Lush

The Peaches Body Spray is one of six exclusive body sprays that Lush have just released a limited amount of.

As you can see from the photos included in this review, the Peaches body spray doesn’t have the standard Lush, black-and-white-label on it. The Peaches body sprays label is a standout, bright peachy-shade-of-orange.

Lush were clever to inject so much colour into the labels of each body spray in this Summer-led fragrance drop. The bright colours scream Summer, alongside the uplifting scents contained within the six body spray bottles you can’t go wrong.

Each of the body sprays are impossible not to get excited about. BUT we all know you’re here to hear about the body sprays not their labels; Without further ado…


Peaches isn’t a new Lush scent; We were first introduced to it through the Princess Peach shower jelly and Princess Peach body spray back in early 2023. Since then, it has also featured in the Passion Fruit exfoliating shower gel and most recently the ridiculously popular Thermal Waves bath bomb.

Ingredients wise, the Peaches body spray contains organic sweet orange oil, buchu oil, litsea cubeba oil, olibanum resinoid and champaca absolute. This carefully selected group of ingredients create such an uplifting fragrance that is not just fit for Princess Peach but for anyone that loves to sip a cocktail or three on the beach!

If you are familiar with Lush’s Peachy bath bomb, Peaches is quite similar to that but with a tropical twist. The longer you sniff it, the more complex the fragrance gets.

At first, I can smell a blend of peach and pineapple then after a few more seconds there’s a muskiness to the scent too. There is something so mouth-wateringly juicy about it.

Just one spritz of the Peaches body spray either on your body or clothes is all you need for it to last on you all day. The first time I put it on, I sprayed it three or four times and I quickly realised that was a mistake. Any more than two squirts of it made what is a delicate and fun, fruity fragrance, overpowering in a sickly way.

Sometimes less is more and using less of the Peaches body spray, is in my opinion the best way to use it. The fact that you have to use such a small amount per day makes it excellent value for money, which we can all agree is something we look for from cosmetic products these days.

Lush’s fragrances are always marketed for use by everyone, but my husband took a particular liking to the Peaches body spray… Here’s me warning you to not leave your bottle of it out just anywhere, people will be drawn in by its pretty packaging then become completely hooked after just one squirt. Make sure to keep your bottle of it out of reach from others, this is one body spray you won’t want to share, it’s that good! 😉

Crackle Bath Bomb from Lush

Today I am reviewing the recently released Crackle Bath Bomb from Lush’s 2024 World Bath Bomb Day collection.

Out of the 29 bath bombs, Crackle is the only charity one. 100% of the sales price (minus government tax) will go to Dexter’s Arc, a children’s cancer charity funding non-animal testing research into Rhabdomyosarcoma. You can find out more about Dexter’s Arc (here).

Just like me, Dexter loved dragons. Crackle was the name of his dragon teddy; and that toy dragon is the inspiration behind the Crackle bath bomb.

This bath bomb honours not only Dexter but all of the children who have lost their lives and futures because of a lack of Rhabdomyosarcoma research and available treatments.

The Crackle bath bomb is one of Lush’s most shimmery to date. It is in the shape of a golden dragon’s egg and includes a blue baby-dragon with bright red wings.

Each of the Crackle bath bombs are approximately 170g each fitting snuggly in my hand. Crackle’s ingredients include clove bud oil, labdanum resinoid, lime oil and Brazilian orange oil.

Crackle has a brand-new scent that is meant to emulate gummy type candy. I can see (or should I say smell) exactly what Lush have tried to do with the bath bomb scent wise, it really does smell just like a packet of Haribo sweets!

I couldn’t help but notice that elements of it also reminded me a little of the Cinders bath bomb too.

Much like the majority of the other bath bombs from the World Bath Bomb Day collection Crackle is colourful, bright and immediately demands your attention with its baby dragon just sat there in its shimmery golden egg.

As soon as the Crackle bath bomb encounters your bath water there is an explosion of thick shimmering, golden-yellow foam. I admit I was surprised at just how much foam the Crackle bath bomb created as there hasn’t been one this foamy for a very long time.

After a couple of minutes the bath bomb starts to spin and that’s when the dragon magic truly begins…

As the Crackle bath bomb dances around the water’s surface, the red, blue and yellow colours start to spin out of it; Where the three different colours start to blend, you also get shades of green, pink and orange. I was not expecting this bath bomb to be so colourful!

Its scent although gentle, quickly takes over your bathroom. There’s the warmth of the clove bud oil and then the sweetness of the lime and Brazilian orange oil too; All of these blended together make the Crackle bath bomb really smell just like a packet of sweets.

When I read the description of this bath bomb on Lush’s website it stated that it had popping candy inside, I didn’t notice any during use, so decided to check the ingredients list once I’d used it.

No popping candy is listed in the ingredients list either so I think Lush must have changed their mind. Popping candy would have been a nice touch but I enjoyed my experience of the Crackle bath bomb just as well without it.

The Crackle bath bomb takes just over 10 minutes to fully dissolve, the golden egg part being the last part of it.

After 10 minutes, coloured water swimming with shimmer is all that is left behind. I couldn’t help but swish the pretty water around just to see all of the shimmer dancing around like the storm inside of a snow globe.

It left my skin soft and although the scent was subtle there was a sweetness that lingered. Overall, I can’t get enough of the Crackle bath bomb. There are so many best parts about it; its scent, the bath art it creates, its cute design but what’s most important is its link to Dexter. I hope that the sales of this charity bath bomb continue to sky-rocket.

For me though, I always have a soft spot for the Lush products that are made into little creatures and Crackle the mini dragon might just be my favourite Lush-creature creation yet!

Space Girl Body Spray from Lush

A limited amount of the Space Girl Body Spray was first released back in November 2020 and as of a few days ago, another limited amount of them have just become available too. I honestly thought I had already reviewed this body spray, hence this review being four years late… Sorry! BUT, better late than never! 😉

Space Girl is a very popular Lush scent that has appeared in many different products over the years, but it all started with the Space Girl bath bomb back in 2009.

Whatever product format the Space Girl scent comes out in, always sells well. I am amazed that the body spray isn’t a main line product.

If you never got the chance to try the Space Girl bath bomb, other more recently released products that share its scent include, the Screaming Banshee bath bomb, Asteroid bath bomb and the Very Very Frightening shower gel, just to name a few.


Ingredients wise, the Space Girl body spray contains grapefruit oil, bergamot oil and almond oil.

The Space Girl scent isn’t an easy one to describe but I’ll give it my best shot, the first thing that I think of when sniffing it is raspberries! It’s a very gentle berry scent that is almost fizzy (in a sherbet like way).

It is not at all overpowering like some Lush scents are so would be a good choice if you prefer the softer Lush fragrances. It’s a body spray I reach for when I am not quite sure which one to choose as it suits every occasion.

It has been a little while since Lush did a body spray drop of this size, out of the six that were just released only three are however brand new. Both Space Girl and Sticky Dates have returned as well as Princess Peach, albeit with a new name.

With the Space Girl scent being one of Lush’s more gentle fragrances I thought we’d maybe have to use a little bit more of it to last BUT a very small amount of it seems to go a very long way.

It’s not blow-your-head-off-strong like Sticky Dates but two sprays either on my body or on my clothes seems to last a good eight hours.

It is described on Lush’s website as a scent that is playful, moreish and sure to send your mood rocketing. I don’t think they could have described it any better. It’s really uplifting and always takes me back to when I first got into Lush.

Overall, I love the Space Girl scent and I am so pleased that Lush have rereleased it in the body spray format so that we can finally get a new bottle as well as new customers having the chance to try it!
