Mother Nature Bath Bomb from Lush

The Mother Nature Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2024 Mother’s Day line.

Weighing in at approximately 75g each, the Mother Nature bath bomb is the same size as the recently released Love Potion bath bomb.

Recently Lush have started to release smaller sized bath bombs, some might say that you’re no longer getting the same amount of product for your money but through my excessive use of Lush bath bombs I know that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean a bath bomb will be better.

I never judge a bath bomb on first look as the plainer or smaller ones can often give you the best of surprises during use…

The Mother Nature bath bomb has quite a simple design. It’s a bright green face with several flowers of different sizes decorating the faces hair; Also included is a real, single pressed Cosmos flower stuck on the side of the bath bombs head, it’s simple but beautiful. It reminds me of Te Fiti in the animated film, Moana.

As well as the pressed Cosmos flower, Mother Nature bath bomb also contains rosewood oil, bergamot oil, ylang ylang oil, fair trade olive oil.

It shares its scent with the NEW Groovy Kind of Love bath bomb and Pink Flamingo reusable bubble bar.

The Mother Nature bath bomb’s scent is sweet, fruity and oozes happy vibes. It is a citrus led scent BUT is a lot gentler than the average citrus based Lush product. It will most likely appeal to customers who like a more subtle, zesty-scented product.

As soon as the Mother Nature bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with an explosion of green bubbles.

The Mother Nature bath bomb doesn’t offer much bath-art-wise, but its mood-brightening scent makes it a must try!

The scent of the bath bomb really comes to life once placed into the water, even though it’s quite a gentle scent it still seems to fill your bathroom.

With the Mother Nature bath bomb being so dinky, it took just over three minutes to fully dissolve leaving only the flower and bright green waters behind.

The bright green waters smell heavenly, the Mother Nature bath bomb is quite literally sunshine in bath bomb form. Its scent lingers in your bathroom once you’ve pulled the plug and can still be smelt on your skin long after getting out of the bath, after using it I couldn’t help but keep sniffing myself!

The water left behind by the Mother Nature bath bomb not only smells delicious but also feels amazing on your skin. It’s a very no-fuss bath bomb but one of the best to have come out so far this year. Sometimes it’s not all about bath art but about its design and how it smells.

My skin still feels silky smooth several hours after getting out of the bath. I wouldn’t say my skin feels particularly hydrated after using Mother Nature but I’m not desperate to slather myself in a body lotion either.

Overall, I absolutely adore the Mother Nature bath bomb, it really does make you realise that the big and multicoloured bath bombs aren’t always the best. I am looking forward to seeing what other smaller bath bombs Lush come up with in the future.
