The Easter Bunny Bubble Bar is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2022 Easter line. Designed to look like a superhero bunny, this all-gold bubble bar was one of the first of this year’s Easter products to catch my attention.
You may recognise The Easter Bunny bubble bars scent as it also features in one of Lush’s most popular Halloween products, the Sparkly Pumpkin.
The Easter Bunny bubble bar is approximately 130g so reasonably small in comparison to other bubble bars in its price range such as The Comforter, which, at the time of writing this review is only 50p more and 70g bigger.

The Easter Bunny bubble bar contains grapefruit, juniperberry and lime oils. Lush’s website describes The Easter Bunny bubble bath as an ‘eggciting citrus soak’.
The juniperberry in it warms you up and the grapefruit in it uplifts and brightens your mood. Its scent is a woody and gentle citrus blend. One thing I feel I must point out is that this bubbles bars scent wasn’t as strong as I’d have liked. If you favour the products with a more subtle scent, then The Easter Bunny would be a great choice for you.
To use the, The Easter Bunny bubble bar, I put broken up pieces of it into a sieve and let the running bath-water trickle over it. I find this the most effective way to use single use bubble bars. This method is also the best way to ensure none of the bubble bar gets accidentally wasted and through trial and error, I have found that this method makes the most bubbles.

The one thing I love about Lush’s bubble bars over their bath bombs is that they can be spread out over several baths. You could get 2 adequately bubbled bubble baths out of just the one Easter Bunny bubble bar although, I do recommend using the whole thing in one bath if you want to get the most out of its scent. What really lets down the, The Easter Bunny bubble bar is the weakness of its scent.
It doesn’t take long for the blanket of fluffy white bubble to form and a little goes a long way if you’re looking for just bubbles. Using more bubble bar will help the scent be somewhat stronger. To reiterate what I said earlier, I recommend using the whole thing to get the most out of this bubble bar, scent and bubble wise.
Underneath the blanket of fluffy, white bubbles the water turns a golden-yellow (the photo below does it no justice at all) it has the most spectacular golden shimmer dancing around it too.

An Easter Bunny bubble bath leaves your skin silky-smooth and well nourished. Its scent unfortunately doesn’t hang around on your skin for very long, I hope one day that Lush bring out a body lotion in its scent, after all we already have the body spray so it’s certainly doable.
Overall, I am glad Lush released this. As I’ve said, its scent could have been a little stronger but when used all at once it makes for a fantastic bath.
I hope Lush bring out more Sparkly Pumpkin/Easter Bunny scented products soon as it’s a scent I’d love to see carried on in to other product formats, a shower gel equivalent would be heavenly. Hint, hint Lush!
