Twilight Bubble Bar from Lush

The Twilight Bubble Bar was on the very top of my list when Lush UK did their latest bubble bar drop. Sharing its scent with the first Lush bath bomb I ever tried, Twilight, I couldn’t help but use it first.

Just looking at the Twilight bubble bar makes me want to book a sunny holiday, created with 3 tropical-sunset-colours jammed together and decorated with a seaweed palm tree, it simply demands to be used in a fancy bath tub somewhere exotic…

Sadly due to the current restrictions of Covid-19 this isn’t possible BUT a 30 minute bath with this little beauty brings you pretty close to a level of relaxation you can normally only achieve by spending a lazy day on a sun lounger, bestselling book in one hand and an ice cold drink in the other…

This dreamy bubble bar contains benzoin resinoid, tonka-absolute and both lavender and ylang ylang oils making it the perfect bubble bar to reach for to help you wind down after a long day.

Size wise, the Twilight bubble bar is quite small BUT don’t let that put you off of trying it, I got 2 ridiculously-bubbly bubble baths out of just one Twilight bubble bar. I think if I wasn’t so greedy I could have easily spread it out over 3 (possibly 4 at a push) baths, it is excellent value for money.

While you don’t have to use the seaweed-palm-tree part of this bubble bar, sticking it in the water with you does add a slight softness to the water, much like the Big Blue bath bomb. The warmth of the water breaks down the seaweed adding a slight silkiness to the bath water, while there’s not enough to make a huge difference it is worth trying.

With the bubble bar being 3 different colours, the colour of the water underneath the blanket of bubbles differs depending on how much and what parts of the bubble bars you use. A good mix of all 3 colours (see above photo) will give you sunset-pink water.

Bubbles come quick and fast when the Twilight bubble bar is held under a running tap, there’s nothing like laying back surrounded by tonka-absolute and lavender scented bubbles. Yes, we’ve had what seems like a million Lush products that share this bubble bars scent now BUT I don’t think I’ll ever grow bored of Twilight.

I have my fingers crossed that soon we will be able to actually use this bubble bar somewhere exotic and not just have to use our imagination, it’s a true luxury Lush product that I have throughly enjoyed using and reviewing! 😊
