Froggy Friend Shower Jelly from Lush

The Froggy Friend Shower Jelly is a limited-edition product from Lush’s 2025 Easter range.

It is a pale, aqua green colour and made into the most delightful little frog shape. It has two large, bulging eyes, dimpled cheeks, a big smiley mouth, speckled head and four dinky frog feet with little froggy toes!

Each Froggy Friend shower jelly comes in at a generous 190g, making it almost twice the size of the other recently released shower jellies such as Coffee Morning shower jelly.

It contains some of the following ingredients: glycerine, soya milk, carrageenan extract, lemon myrtle oil, grapefruit oil and ylang ylang oil.

Froggy Friend shares its scent with the popular Snow Dragon bath bomb from previous Winter collections and belongs to the Baked Alaska Lush-scent-family.

Its fragrance is best described as bright and zingy, think fresh citrus with a sharp, springy edge. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for sluggish mornings, cutting through grogginess and giving you a much-needed boost.

As a novelty shaped jelly, I did worry how well Froggy Friend would hold up during use. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long, within seconds of trying to lather it up, two of my Froggy’s little feet fell off… While it sadly didn’t keep its froggy form for long, the shower jelly did still lather up just fine and remained completely usable.

There’s no right or wrong way to use a shower jelly. I prefer to use mine whole, like a bar of soap, others however like to chop theirs into chunks – especially handy if you’re sharing it with someone. Once you’ve used your jelly, simply rinse it off and pop it back into its pot ready for next time.

Despite falling apart on first use, Froggy Friend produced a great lather with very little effort. It left my skin feeling clean, fresh and lightly fragranced.

The heat and steam from the shower helped its scent blossom too, temporarily turning the whole bathroom into a citrusy, super energising steam room!

Post shower, my skin felt refreshed and revived, though I did find it a touch drier than usual. Nothing a quick splash of moisturiser couldn’t however solve. The fragrance lingered on my skin for about an hour afterwards too.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Froggy Friend shower jelly. Its charming design made me smile, and although I’d have liked it to stay whole for a little longer, its flimsiness didn’t take away from how well it performed as a shower jelly. It washed beautifully and delivered an instant energy boost!

Shaun The Sheep Bath Bomb from Lush

The Shaun the Sheep X Lush collaboration is finally out! In partnership with Aardman, Lush have created six fresh, fully vegan products – each of them a tribute to Shaun the Sheep and the charming characters from his world.

Today I am reviewing the Shaun The Sheep Bath Bomb, I was lucky enough to receive one in a PR box from Lush.

The Shaun the Sheep bath bomb is based on the main character and star of the show. The bath bomb is Shaun’s face, he has a playful chewing expression, a fluffy white top (his wool) and two large cartoonish eyes.

As with all Lush products, the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb is completely handmade, even the finer details of Shaun’s face and eyes are sprayed on by hand!

Each of the Shaun the Sheep bath bombs are approximately 135g, fitting snuggly in my hand.

I have yet to review any items that share their scent with the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb so cannot link any here BUT the scent-family it is a part of is Lush’s Summer Blues.

The Shaun the Sheep bath bomb contains some of the following ingredients: Rose absolute, orange flower absolute, lemongrass oil, jasmine absolute, coconut milk powder and olive oil.

The Summer Blue’s scent is a stunning blend of both floral and citrus notes, the sweet orange flower and zesty lemongrass bring a refreshing and uplifting energy while the rose absolute and jasmine adds a softness.

It’s both a soothing and brightening fragrance that perfectly captures the Summer season.

With the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb being just black and white on the outside I was expecting similar bath art to the Humbug bath bomb, I was however very wrong…

As soon as the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb touches your bath water there is an explosion of white foam. It doesn’t take very long for black and grey foam to fizzle out of it too.

After about sixty seconds, the black foam stops, and suddenly grass-green foam starts to spill out of the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb instead (not what I was expecting at all!)

The bath art from the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb is incredible, it only took three minutes to fully dissolve but in that short space of time, the prettiest of white and green swirls decorated the surface of my bath water.

My photos in this review do the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb no justice at all. Underneath the pretty white and green swirls, the bath water turns an inviting shade of kiwi green.

The green water left behind feels unbelievably soft. After a good soak, my skin appears brighter and smoother, I’d go as far as to say that it has a healthy glow that lasts long after I’ve got out of the bath.

After using Shaun the Sheep, though the scent is subtle, it lingers beautifully on my skin for most of the day.

Overall, I loved the Shaun the Sheep bath bomb. The bath art was incredible, and I hope Lush decide to bring more products out in its scent soon. I can’t wait to try the rest of the Shaun the Sheep X Lush range now!

Edamummy Bean Bath Bomb from Lush

Year in, year out, Lush never fail to surprise me with their quirky, unique, well thought out products, the Edamummy Bean Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited-edition product released as a part of Lush’s 2025 Mother’s Day range.

Edamummy Bean is of course a play on words for edamame beans.

Weighing in at approximately 100g, it is slightly larger than the Love Letter bath bomb.

Edamummy Bean is a vibrant green, ‘snap pea’ shaped bath bomb. The two peas in its pod both have two eyes and a mouth, and they are looking at each other smiling.

This Mother’s Day, edamame-bean-shaped bath bomb was inspired by the way all of the beans in an edamame pod grow together in a safe space. It symbolises the journey of motherhood, where both parent and child grow and learn side by side, finding comfort in each other’s company.

Colour wise, the Edamummy Bean bath bomb is a very similar green to one of last year’s Mother’s Day products the Mother Nature bath bomb.

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb contains some of the following ingredients: bergamot oil, geranium oil, carob resinoid and pea; Rice and hemp protein powder.

It has a brand new scent; The blend of geranium and carob resinoid replicate the smell of a toffee apple. It’s very sweet and a little smoky too. Think burnt toffee but in a good way!

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb fits snuggly in my hand and being one of Lush’s smaller bath bombs, it’s cheaper price will appeal to the masses.

Lush have been creating more and more smaller bath bombs recently, and I’m all for it! Just because they’re small doesn’t mean they will be any less magical than the bigger ones…

As soon as the Edamummy Bean bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with an explosion of hissing green foam.

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb doesn’t offer much bath-art-wise being all green throughout BUT, its delicate toffee apple scent and way it softens your bath water makes it a must try.

The burnt toffee element of this bath bombs fragrance really shines through once you place it into the water, the scent fills your bathroom as it quickly dissolves away.

The last part of the bath bomb to be taken over by the water are the two peas, they are smiling and looking at each other lovingly until the very end!

It takes approximately four minutes for the Edamummy Bean bath bomb to completely dissolve, the water left behind is a bold green and makes your bath water silky smooth and incredibly hydrating.

Its scent lingers in your bathroom once you’ve pulled the plug and can still be smelt on your skin (although subtly) long after getting out of the bath too.

Overall, I absolutely adore the Edamummy Bean bath bomb, the inspiration behind it is a perfect representation of what a family should be. Simple yet beautiful products like the Edamummy bath bomb makes you realise that big, multicoloured bath bombs aren’t always the best ones.
