Coffee Morning Shower Jelly from Lush

The Coffee Morning Shower Jelly is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2025 Mother’s Day line.

The Coffee Morning shower jelly is a dazzling gold colour and has been made into the shape of an espresso cup; The cup has two googly eyes, a cartoon-smile and a healthy dollop of cream on its top.

Each of the Coffee Morning shower jellies are 100g, the perfect size to fit snuggly in your hand.

The Coffee Morning shower jelly contains some of the following ingredients: glycerine, date syrup, carrageenan extract, carob resinoid, benzoin resinoid and, West Timor sandalwood oil.

Coffee Morning shares its scent with the bestselling shower gel, Sticky Dates.

The best way to describe Coffee Mornings scent is mouth-wateringly delicious. Think hot and gooey sticky toffee pudding with a generous scoop of refreshing, vanilla ice cream.

Coffee Morning has a beautiful scent, and no matter what product format Lush releases the Sticky Dates scent family in, it flies off the shelves. However, I do wonder if the name Coffee Morning might mislead some customers – they could easily overlook it, not realising it carries the beloved Sticky Dates fragrance.

With Coffee Morning being a novelty shaped shower jelly, I wondered how long it would last as unfortunately I find quite often that the novelty shaped jellies aren’t always as sturdy and robust as the normal, pot-shaped-ones.

Luckily, the Coffee Morning shower jelly is still quite a sturdy shape, while it a little flimsier after three uses there hasn’t been a significant sign of wear and tear. I believe I’ve got a good few more uses out of it to go!

There is no right or wrong way to use a shower jelly, I prefer to use mine in the same way as you would a bar of soap, whole. Some people however chop their shower jellies up using a few pieces at a time, this is a good method if you’re sharing it with someone else.

With Coffee Morning being such a good size (fitting in my hand perfectly) I have happily used it whole and recommend you do the same.

Once you’ve used your shower jelly simply rinse it off like you would a bar of soap, then pop it back into the pot leaving it ready and waiting for you when you next want to use it.

The Coffee Morning shower jelly lathers up easily, creating a silky soft foam that glides over your skin effortlessly. As you lather away it leaves your skin cleansed, refreshed and lightly scented.

Its moreish and oh-so-yummy scent fills your bathroom, lingering in the air long after you’ve finished.

Once out of the shower, my skin feels soft, refreshed, and perfectly smooth. It’s delicious scent also remains on your skin for the best part of the rest of the day.

Overall, I absolutely love the Coffee Morning shower jelly and its charming design. I just hope people realise it carries the Sticky Dates scent (so that it gets best seller status, as it is what it deserves!)

Up, Up and Away Bath Bomb from Lush

The Up, Up and Away Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited-edition release from Lush’s 2025 Mother’s Day range.

Weighing in at only 90g, it is one of Lush’s smaller and more affordable bath bombs.

Up, Up and Away is a bright pink and violet hot-air-balloon shaped bath bomb. The balloon part of this bath bomb is pink and the basket violet.

The balloon is decorated with a zig zag pattern and 5 stars, while the basket has one love heart in its centre.

The Up, Up and Away bath bomb contains some of the following ingredients: Sicilian lemon oil, lemon myrtle oil, litsea cubeba and styrax resinoid.

The Up, Up and Away scent family is new to Lush and by far one of the juiciest they’ve made to date; I’d buy gallons of it in a body spray format!

The Sicilian lemon oil is probably what comes through the strongest, it’s a beautiful rich lemony fragrance that I can’t get enough of, it’s got me well and truly in the mood for Spring, it’s incredibly refreshing and has blown away all of the cobwebs of Winter for me. The more I sniff the Up, Up and Away bath bomb the more I want it.

The Up, Up and Away bath bomb fits snuggly in my hand and as I said earlier, (with it being one of Lush’s smaller bath bombs) it is one of the cheaper ones from the 2025 Mother’s Day line.

Lush have been creating more and more smaller bath bombs recently, and I’m all for it. The smaller ones quite often put the bigger ones to shame.

As soon as the Up, Up and Away bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with an explosion of hissing pink and violet foam. The violet foam however starts to look more of a light blue once in the water, the colours coming out of the Up, Up and Away bath bomb actually remind me of the Twilight bath bomb.

Despite the Up, Up and Away bath bomb being two different colours it doesn’t offer much bath-art-wise but its fruity scent and the hot pink colour that it turns your bath water makes it a must try.

The Up, Up and Away scent just gets better and better. Once you place it into the water, the scent completely takes over your bathroom. It’s not blow-your-head-off strong but it holds its ground, I could still smell it in the air long after the last drop of water went down the drain.

For such a small bath bomb I was surprised at how long it took to fully dissolve (approximately nine minutes), the water left behind is a bold and beautiful shade of hot pink, is silky smooth and incredibly hydrating on your skin too.

The best thing about the Up, Up and Away bath bomb for me has to be its scent. I could still smell it on my skin the morning after using it. DELICIOUS!

Overall, I absolutely adore the Up, Up and Away bath bomb and have my fingers crossed that Lush expand this scent family sooner rather than later.

You Are My Sunshine Shower Jelly from Lush

The You Are My Sunshine Shower Jelly is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2025 Mother’s Day line.

The You Are My Sunshine shower jelly is a radiant, yellowish gold colour and is in the shape of a stylised sun (see below photo). In ways, it could also pass for a little golden flower.

Each of the You Are My Sunshine shower jellies are 210g which is more than a handful, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth!

The You Are My Sunshine shower jelly contains some of the following ingredients: glycerine, fresh lemon infusion, carrageenan extract, organic sweet orange oil, buchu oil, litsea cubeba oil, olibanum resinoid and champaca absolute.

You Are My Sunshine shares its scent with the Thermal Waves bath bomb and Peaches body spray. The best way to describe its scent is a fruity burst of both peach and pineapple. It’s an incredibly uplifting scent that is sweet and not too in your face. It’s a good option for customers who prefer lighter scents.

Straight out of the pot the You Are My Sunshine shower jelly has a warm, sherbet-fruit like scent, it is almost as if it has a slight fizziness to it. The more you sniff the fizzier the scent seems to get.

With You Are My Sunshine being a novelty shaped shower jelly, I wondered how long it would last as unfortunately I find more often than not, that the novelty shaped jellies aren’t always as sturdy and robust as the normal, pot-shaped-ones.

Luckily, the You Are My Sunshine shower jelly is bulky enough that after three uses there has been no sign of any wear and tear. I know for sure that this shower jelly is going to last me a good few months!

There is no right or wrong way to use a shower jelly, I prefer to use mine in the same way as you would a bar of soap, whole. Some people however chop their shower jellies up using a few pieces at a time, this is a good method if you’re sharing it with someone else.

Although, with this shower jelly being so big and bulky, if your hands are on the smaller side like mine, cutting it in half would be quite a good idea as it will be easier to handle.

Once you’ve used your shower jelly simply rinse it off and then pop it back into the pot leaving it ready and waiting for you when you next want to use it.

The You Are My Sunshine shower jelly lathers up effortlessly, transforming into a silky foam that glides over your skin, cleansing and refreshing as it goes.

Its delicate yet uplifting peach-and-pineapple fragrance although subtle, still manages to fill your bathroom with its sunny scent, making every shower feel like a little slice of Summer.

Stepping out of the shower, my skin feels soft, refreshed, and wonderfully smooth. Its fruity scent also lingers, gently perfuming your skin for a good few hours after use.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the You Are My Sunshine shower jelly. It’s quite literally sunshine in a pot – pure, mood-boosting joy in a yummy shower jelly form!
