Edamummy Bean Bath Bomb from Lush

Year in, year out, Lush never fail to surprise me with their quirky, unique, well thought out products, the Edamummy Bean Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited-edition product released as a part of Lush’s 2025 Mother’s Day range.

Edamummy Bean is of course a play on words for edamame beans.

Weighing in at approximately 100g, it is slightly larger than the Love Letter bath bomb.

Edamummy Bean is a vibrant green, ‘snap pea’ shaped bath bomb. The two peas in its pod both have two eyes and a mouth, and they are looking at each other smiling.

This Mother’s Day, edamame-bean-shaped bath bomb was inspired by the way all of the beans in an edamame pod grow together in a safe space. It symbolises the journey of motherhood, where both parent and child grow and learn side by side, finding comfort in each other’s company.

Colour wise, the Edamummy Bean bath bomb is a very similar green to one of last year’s Mother’s Day products the Mother Nature bath bomb.

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb contains some of the following ingredients: bergamot oil, geranium oil, carob resinoid and pea; Rice and hemp protein powder.

It has a brand new scent; The blend of geranium and carob resinoid replicate the smell of a toffee apple. It’s very sweet and a little smoky too. Think burnt toffee but in a good way!

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb fits snuggly in my hand and being one of Lush’s smaller bath bombs, it’s cheaper price will appeal to the masses.

Lush have been creating more and more smaller bath bombs recently, and I’m all for it! Just because they’re small doesn’t mean they will be any less magical than the bigger ones…

As soon as the Edamummy Bean bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with an explosion of hissing green foam.

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb doesn’t offer much bath-art-wise being all green throughout BUT, its delicate toffee apple scent and way it softens your bath water makes it a must try.

The burnt toffee element of this bath bombs fragrance really shines through once you place it into the water, the scent fills your bathroom as it quickly dissolves away.

The last part of the bath bomb to be taken over by the water are the two peas, they are smiling and looking at each other lovingly until the very end!

It takes approximately four minutes for the Edamummy Bean bath bomb to completely dissolve, the water left behind is a bold green and makes your bath water silky smooth and incredibly hydrating.

Its scent lingers in your bathroom once you’ve pulled the plug and can still be smelt on your skin (although subtly) long after getting out of the bath too.

Overall, I absolutely adore the Edamummy Bean bath bomb, the inspiration behind it is a perfect representation of what a family should be. Simple yet beautiful products like the Edamummy bath bomb makes you realise that big, multicoloured bath bombs aren’t always the best ones.

Love Struck Bath Bomb from Lush

The Love Struck Bath Bomb is Lush’s 2025 Valentine’s Day bomb shell bath bomb, I was lucky enough to be gifted one by Lush… A bomb shell bath bomb is a slightly more luxurious type of bath bomb that can often be split and used over three different baths.

Bombshell bath bombs are huge (370g in Love Struck’s case) they are hollow inside and each have a removable bath bomb lid; Love Struck’s lid being the pointy part of the yellow arrow (see above photo).

Inside of the Love Struck bath bomb you’ll find loose purple bath-bomb-powder, popping candy and coarse sea salt.

The Love Struck bath bomb is not to be confused with 2017’s Lovestruck bubble bar – the only similarity between the two is the name and the fact both are Valentine’s Day products.

The Love Struck bath bomb is a heart shaped bath bomb with Cupid’s yellow arrow shot through it. The front side of it is hot pink and its back is light blue. With its hidden, loose purple bath-bomb-powder, the colours of it really remind me of the Unicorn Horn bubble bar.

Alongside the popping candy and coarse sea salt, Love Struck also contains some of the following ingredients: bergamot oil, blackcurrant absolute and cypress oil.

It shares its scent with The Comforter bubble bar and The Comforter shower gel; It is a juicy, blackcurrant-rich fragrance. However, in bath bomb form, the scent is much lighter compared to the shower gel.

How you use the Love Struck bath bomb is completely up to you. Some throw it all in at once, others split the different parts of it over several baths.

I used the whole thing in one bath starting off by removing its lid and emptying the contents of it, into the water. I was surprised at just how much bath-bomb-powder the Love Struck bath bomb contained.

If you look at the photo directly above, you can see behind the bath bomb that the water has a layer of purple foam, this photo was taken straight after tipping the bath bombs contents out.

After emptying Love Struck’s contents into the bath I placed the yellow lid back on the bath bomb and put the whole thing in the water together.

As soon as the Love Struck bath bomb touches the water, a thick stream of baby blue foam spills out of it, quickly covering most of the purple foam already in the bath. It doesn’t take long for pink and yellow foam to spill out of Love Struck too.

With it being such a big bath bomb, I ended up dunking it all under the water to hurry along the bath art.

Lush’s website describe this bath bombs bath art as ‘more potent than Cupid’s arrow, with swoon-worthy swirls of pastel hues.’

Unfortunately, I didn’t experience any of the popping candy in the Love Struck bath bomb, but I thoroughly enjoyed the bath art it created.

When I submerged the bath bomb, more purple foam burst out of its centre, I must have missed some when pouring it out! This made me regret emptying the contents first; next time, I’ll use it whole.

It took just over 15 minutes for the bath bomb to fully dissolve, leaving behind a deep purple bathwater with brownish undertones. The scent lingers on your skin after, and it leaves your skin feeling wonderfully soft too.

Overall, I loved using this bath bomb. While the big bombshell bath bombs are on the pricier side, they’re definitely worth the occasional splurge on a special occasion!

Tunnel Of Love Bath Bomb from Lush

The Tunnel of Love Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited edition product from Lush’s 2025 Valentine’s Day line. It is a ticket shaped bath bomb that was inspired by the ‘Tunnel of Love’ found in the village of Klevan, Ukraine.

The Tunnel of Love is a four km long section of industrial railway track that is surrounded by lush green foliage. Local legend says that if you and your partner come to the Tunnel of Love to make a wish, it will come true.

The Tunnel of Love bath bomb has two colours, one side is pink and the other purple. It is designed to look just like a ticket (much like the One Long Soak bath bomb) it has scalloped edges, and the words ‘Tunnel of Love’ is etched into its front, the ‘O’ in the word ‘love’ has however been turned into a love heart.

Each Tunnel of Love bath bomb is approximately 140g making it look like a super-sized ticket in your hand; With its huge size it is a ticket you won’t easily lose…

Some of the ingredients included in the Tunnel of Love bath bomb are olibanum oil, bergamot oil, orris root powder and plenty of popping candy.

The scent of the Tunnel of Love bath bomb is the same as the Blackberry bath bomb, but there is a super subtle, fizzy-violet twang to it that I think comes from the orris root powder.

The Tunnel of Love’s scent is best described as a sweet, gentle woody fragrance, that is complemented by delicate floral notes with little hints of citrus.

Products that contain both olibanum and bergamot oils are perfect for helping you relax, whether it’s to get you ready for a day you feel a little overwhelmed at the thought of facing, or to help you chill after a long day, there’s no better blend.

As soon as the Tunnel of Love bath bomb touches the water there is an explosion of colour, pink and purple foam pour out of the bath bomb and where the colours begin to blend you get blue foam too.

After about 60 seconds it looks like the bath bomb foam is going to lose all of the blue and purple colouring, spreading just pink foam instead. Then, a few minutes later only purple foam spills out of the bath bomb.

As the bath bomb dissolves, the very last part of the bath bomb to be taken over by the water are the raised ‘tunnel of love’ letters on its front.

Strangely, the fact that the letters are the last part of the bath bomb to dissolve gives the illusion that the letters are getting bigger.

I admit, I was expecting a lot of pink and purple bath art from the Tunnel of Love bath bomb but after the first few minutes all that really came out of the bath bomb was a steady stream of purple foam.

The Tunnel of Love bath bomb was a very slow fizzer taking just over ten minutes to fully dissolve. Once it has dissolved, it leaves behind shimmery Cadbury-purple-water.

After I got out of the bath my skin felt hydrated, velvety and had a noticeable healthy glow. The scent also remained on my skin for the rest of the day leaving me dreaming about the next time I could use it.

While I adore the classics, there’s always a unique thrill in discovering something new and the Tunnel of Love bath bomb certainly delivers on that excitement.

Overall, I absolutely adored using this bath bomb. It’s colourful, shimmery, and wonderfully fragrant, making it a standout product from this year’s Valentine’s range. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to Lush, the Tunnel of love bath bomb is well worth trying!
