Dust The Two Of Us Dusting Powder from Lush

The Dust The Two Of Us Dusting Powder is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2025 Valentines line.

It shares its scent with the Sex Bomb bath bomb and contains some of the following ingredients: cornstarch, magnesium carbonate, soybean flour, babassu flour, jasmine absolute, clary sage oil and ylang ylang oil.

Lush’s Sex Bomb scent-family is one of their most popular, and with the inclusion of jasmine – an ingredient renowned for its powerful, sensual, and enticing aroma—it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day fragrance!

Jasmine has been used for centuries as a natural aphrodisiac, making the scent family’s name all the more fitting. The fragrance itself is a soft, floral blend, sweetened by ylang-ylang, while clary sage oil adds a musky depth.

Dusting powders work much like talcum powder, absorbing excess oils while adding a touch of fragrance to your skin.

Dust The Two Of Us leaves my skin beautifully scented with the Sex Bomb fragrance and feeling irresistibly smooth too.

It creates a silky-soft finish and is especially useful in areas prone to excess sweat (like under the boobs…)

While it is not an antiperspirant, I find that Lush’s dusting powders do keep sweat at bay for a little longer than if you were not wearing any.

Some may hesitate to use Dust The Two Of Us due to its small amount of plastic-free lustre, scared they’ll look like a fairy. But it only adds a soft, subtle shimmer to your skin. It’s actually quite pretty making your skin appear somewhat brighter giving it a healthier glow.

A quick sprinkle of this wonderful powder is all you need. Once in my hands, I add it to my arms, legs and anywhere else I fancy my skin feeling super soft. I am surprised at just how long its scent lasts on my skin, it’s made me fall in love with the Sex Bomb scent all over again!

When I was at the Spring 2025 Lush Showcase we each had a mini arm massage, the spa therapists used the Dust The Two Of Us dusting powder on us afterwards and my arms had never felt so soft, it was like new born baby skin, I couldn’t stop touching it.

I haven’t tried the Dust The Two Of Us alongside the Sex Bomb scented massage bar yet but hope to do so very soon.

It’s rare for Lush to create new dusting powders but Dust The Two Of Us is incredible, I’m hoping it goes viral so that it sticks around and becomes mainline.

Edamummy Bean Bath Bomb from Lush

Year in, year out, Lush never fail to surprise me with their quirky, unique, well thought out products, the Edamummy Bean Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited-edition product released as a part of Lush’s 2025 Mother’s Day range.

Edamummy Bean is of course a play on words for edamame beans.

Weighing in at approximately 100g, it is slightly larger than the Love Letter bath bomb.

Edamummy Bean is a vibrant green, ‘snap pea’ shaped bath bomb. The two peas in its pod both have two eyes and a mouth, and they are looking at each other smiling.

This Mother’s Day, edamame-bean-shaped bath bomb was inspired by the way all of the beans in an edamame pod grow together in a safe space. It symbolises the journey of motherhood, where both parent and child grow and learn side by side, finding comfort in each other’s company.

Colour wise, the Edamummy Bean bath bomb is a very similar green to one of last year’s Mother’s Day products the Mother Nature bath bomb.

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb contains some of the following ingredients: bergamot oil, geranium oil, carob resinoid and pea; Rice and hemp protein powder.

It has a brand new scent; The blend of geranium and carob resinoid replicate the smell of a toffee apple. It’s very sweet and a little smoky too. Think burnt toffee but in a good way!

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb fits snuggly in my hand and being one of Lush’s smaller bath bombs, it’s cheaper price will appeal to the masses.

Lush have been creating more and more smaller bath bombs recently, and I’m all for it! Just because they’re small doesn’t mean they will be any less magical than the bigger ones…

As soon as the Edamummy Bean bath bomb touches the water you are greeted with an explosion of hissing green foam.

The Edamummy Bean bath bomb doesn’t offer much bath-art-wise being all green throughout BUT, its delicate toffee apple scent and way it softens your bath water makes it a must try.

The burnt toffee element of this bath bombs fragrance really shines through once you place it into the water, the scent fills your bathroom as it quickly dissolves away.

The last part of the bath bomb to be taken over by the water are the two peas, they are smiling and looking at each other lovingly until the very end!

It takes approximately four minutes for the Edamummy Bean bath bomb to completely dissolve, the water left behind is a bold green and makes your bath water silky smooth and incredibly hydrating.

Its scent lingers in your bathroom once you’ve pulled the plug and can still be smelt on your skin (although subtly) long after getting out of the bath too.

Overall, I absolutely adore the Edamummy Bean bath bomb, the inspiration behind it is a perfect representation of what a family should be. Simple yet beautiful products like the Edamummy bath bomb makes you realise that big, multicoloured bath bombs aren’t always the best ones.

The Comforter Body Scrub from Lush

Today I am reviewing The Comforter Body Scrub, one of the five chosen to be made by the Lush Community.

Back on the very first day that I ever visited a Lush store, I came out with a The Comforter bubble bar. The Comforter is a hugely popular Lush-scent-family and rightly so as it’s delicious!

The Comforter scented product line is huge, several of the products I have most recently reviewed include the Xolo bath bombThe Comforter shower gel and Love Struck bath bomb.

The Comforter body scrub is the same two colours as the bubble bar equivalent, dark pink and white. Both colours are blended together creating an almost tie die like pattern in the pot.

The Comforter body scrub contains a long list of ingredients, some of those included are, caster sugar, fair trade organic cocoa butter, organic almond oil, extra virgin coconut oil, bergamot oil, blackcurrant absolute and cypress oil.

The fact that the, The Comforter body scrub is a sugar-based scrub had me very excited as, as much as I love the salt based scrubs, the finer texture and consistency that sugar scrubs have – I feel, just do a better job exfoliation wise.

With sugar scrubs having a finer texture they aren’t as harsh on the skin but still get the job done – exfoliating your skin perfectly all while moisturising it too. The texture of The Comforter body scrub has an almost marshmallowy texture, reminding me a little of kinetic sand.

The Comforter body scrub smells as its name suggests, comforting. It’s mouth-wateringly good, reminding me of a bowl of mashed juicy blackcurrants. It makes me want to drink a cup of hot blackcurrant squash.

To use, I scoop out about 3 fingers worth of the body scrub per shower; This amount can easily scrub your whole body… You could possibly get away with less but I’m greedy, especially when it comes to anything Comforter scented!

With just a small amount of water, The Comforter body scrub turns into a silky yet perfectly scrubby paste that simply glides across your skin, taking with it any dead skin and dirt. As it buffs away all of the nasties it also soothes and hydrates your skin. – There’s no need to moisturise once you’re out of the shower saving you time and money.

It’s an excellent product for both hydrating and exfoliating skin leaving it appearing brighter and refreshed in just seconds, in short, it is effortless skin perfection.

After using The Comforter body scrub its yummy scent remains on my skin for the best part of the rest of the day.

Overall, I love The Comforter body scrub. I would love for it to become a mainline product as it’s that good; Alongside the Posh Chocolate body scrub I think it may be my favourite of the Lush Community scrubs!
