Frog Prince Shower Jelly from Lush

The Frog Prince Shower Jelly is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2025 Valentines line.

The Frog Prince shower jelly is bright green and sparkly throughout, it is made in the shape of a cartoon frog, it has a crown on and a heart shape on its belly.

Each Frog Prince shower jelly is 100g so easily fits in your hand.

The Frog Prince shower jelly contains some of the following ingredients: marshmallow root infusion, grapefruit oil, West Timor sandalwood oil, geranium oil and fresh pomegranate juice.

Frog Prince’s scent is from the Prince Charming Lush-scent-family. Most recently another item that came out with the same fragrance was the Prince Charming shower gel.

Straight out of the pot the Frog Prince shower jelly has a soft, warm and sweet fragrance, the pomegranate juice is probably the strongest ingredient in it scent wise, but the geranium oil does come to the surface too.

With the Frog Prince shower jelly being novelty shaped, I wondered how long it would last as unfortunately I find more often than not, that the novelty shaped jellies aren’t always as sturdy and robust as the normal, pot-shaped-ones.

As predicted, the Frog Prince shower jelly did show a very small amount of wear and tear after just one use but I’d rather use it and lose it than not use it at all… So far, I’ve used it four times and while it’s now missing the odd toe and its leg is looking a little worse for wear, there is still plenty more of it to go round.

There is no right or wrong way to use a shower jelly, I prefer to use mine in the same way as you would a bar of soap, whole. Some people however chop their shower jellies up using a few pieces at a time, this is a good method if you’re sharing it with someone else.

Although, if you do keep it whole, it is big enough to fit in your hand making it a lot easier to keep a hold of in the shower. Once you’ve used it, simply rinse it off and then pop it back into the pot leaving it ready and waiting for you when you next want to use it.

The Frog Prince shower jelly lathers up well but takes a little more effort than I am used to in a shower jelly, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing but does mean that the shower jelly will be used up quicker as I’m working it harder.

Once I have enough of a lather, I work that lather in to my hands and body just like you do if you were washing yourself with a shower gel.

As I stated earlier, The Frog Prince shower jelly has quite a soft scent, even though its scent is quite subtle from the pot, once in the shower it does become stronger, it’s mouth-wateringly good.

After using the Frog Prince shower jelly my skin feels warm, clean, and fresh. I’d have maybe liked my skin to be a little more hydrated after using it but other than that, it is a brilliant shower jelly!

Overall, I really enjoyed using the Frog Prince shower jelly, I love the Prince Charming Lush-scent-family and would love to see it come back in other product formats in the near future.

Tunnel Of Love Bath Bomb from Lush

The Tunnel of Love Bath Bomb is a brand-new, limited edition product from Lush’s 2025 Valentine’s Day line. It is a ticket shaped bath bomb that was inspired by the ‘Tunnel of Love’ found in the village of Klevan, Ukraine.

The Tunnel of Love is a four km long section of industrial railway track that is surrounded by lush green foliage. Local legend says that if you and your partner come to the Tunnel of Love to make a wish, it will come true.

The Tunnel of Love bath bomb has two colours, one side is pink and the other purple. It is designed to look just like a ticket (much like the One Long Soak bath bomb) it has scalloped edges, and the words ‘Tunnel of Love’ is etched into its front, the ‘O’ in the word ‘love’ has however been turned into a love heart.

Each Tunnel of Love bath bomb is approximately 140g making it look like a super-sized ticket in your hand; With its huge size it is a ticket you won’t easily lose…

Some of the ingredients included in the Tunnel of Love bath bomb are olibanum oil, bergamot oil, orris root powder and plenty of popping candy.

The scent of the Tunnel of Love bath bomb is the same as the Blackberry bath bomb, but there is a super subtle, fizzy-violet twang to it that I think comes from the orris root powder.

The Tunnel of Love’s scent is best described as a sweet, gentle woody fragrance, that is complemented by delicate floral notes with little hints of citrus.

Products that contain both olibanum and bergamot oils are perfect for helping you relax, whether it’s to get you ready for a day you feel a little overwhelmed at the thought of facing, or to help you chill after a long day, there’s no better blend.

As soon as the Tunnel of Love bath bomb touches the water there is an explosion of colour, pink and purple foam pour out of the bath bomb and where the colours begin to blend you get blue foam too.

After about 60 seconds it looks like the bath bomb foam is going to lose all of the blue and purple colouring, spreading just pink foam instead. Then, a few minutes later only purple foam spills out of the bath bomb.

As the bath bomb dissolves, the very last part of the bath bomb to be taken over by the water are the raised ‘tunnel of love’ letters on its front.

Strangely, the fact that the letters are the last part of the bath bomb to dissolve gives the illusion that the letters are getting bigger.

I admit, I was expecting a lot of pink and purple bath art from the Tunnel of Love bath bomb but after the first few minutes all that really came out of the bath bomb was a steady stream of purple foam.

The Tunnel of Love bath bomb was a very slow fizzer taking just over ten minutes to fully dissolve. Once it has dissolved, it leaves behind shimmery Cadbury-purple-water.

After I got out of the bath my skin felt hydrated, velvety and had a noticeable healthy glow. The scent also remained on my skin for the rest of the day leaving me dreaming about the next time I could use it.

While I adore the classics, there’s always a unique thrill in discovering something new and the Tunnel of Love bath bomb certainly delivers on that excitement.

Overall, I absolutely adored using this bath bomb. It’s colourful, shimmery, and wonderfully fragrant, making it a standout product from this year’s Valentine’s range. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to Lush, the Tunnel of love bath bomb is well worth trying!

Posh Chocolate Body Scrub from Lush

With a brand new year comes brand new Lush products, and I’m amazed at just how many of them are body scrubs!

A brand-new body scrub has not only featured in the latest Lush Kitchen subscription box but also in the 2025 Valentine’s Day collection. Lush have also just launched five more limited-edition body scrubs, each with scents selected by the Lush Community.

Today I am reviewing the Posh Chocolate Body Scrub – (one of the five chosen to be made by the Lush Community). I was lucky enough to receive a pot of it as a gift from Lush.

The Posh Chocolate body scrub is a continuation of the fairly new, Posh Chocolate scented product line. First, we had the Posh Chocolate body wash, followed by the Posh Chocolate shower gel. Both products (especially the shower gel) are huge hits with customers so when a body scrub equivalent was released it didn’t come as much of a surprise.

The Posh Chocolate body scrub contains a long list of ingredients, some of those included are, caster sugar, fair trade organic cocoa butter, organic extra virgin olive oil, cocoa powder, illipe butter, fairtrade organic mango butter, cocoa absolute, Australian sandalwood oil and vanilla absolute.

The fact that the Posh Chocolate body scrub is a sugar-based scrub had me very excited as, as much as I love the salt based scrubs, the finer texture and consistency that sugar scrubs have – I feel, just do a better job exfoliation wise.

With sugar scrubs having a finer texture they aren’t as harsh on the skin but still get the job done – exfoliating your skin perfectly all while moisturising it too.

The Posh Chocolate body scrub smells just like a tub of hazelnut and cocoa spread. I hate to state the obvious, but you’d be surprised at how many people do ask… Lush products aren’t meant to be eaten but if I was forced into eating one, I’d definitely reach for something from the Posh Chocolate line!

I scoop out about 3 fingers worth of body scrub out per use; This amount can easily scrub your whole body (you could possibly get away with less but I’m greedy). With a small amount of water, it’s easy to work the Posh Chocolate body scrub into a paste that glides across your skin taking with it any dead skin and dirt.

It’s an excellent product for both hydrating and exfoliating skin leaving it appearing brighter and refreshed in just seconds.

After using the Posh Chocolate body scrub its sweet chocolate scent remains on your skin for several hours. It leaves your skin smoother, brighter-in-appearance and well hydrated, there is no need to moisturise after using it – although, I wouldn’t say no to a Posh Chocolate scented body lotion!

Overall, I love the Posh Chocolate body scrub. I’m disappointed that, at the time of writing this review, it’s only available for a limited time as I truly believe it would do exceptionally well as a mainline product.
