Lemony Flutter Body Spray from Lush

The Lemony Flutter Body Spray is one of six exclusive body sprays that Lush have just released a limited amount of.

As you can see from the photos included in this review, the Lemony Flutter body spray doesn’t have the standard Lush, black-and-white-label on it. Lemony Flutters label is a standout, bright, lemony yellow!

I think Lush were really clever to inject this colour into the labels of each of the exclusive body sprays in this Summer-led fragrance drop. The bright colours scream Summer; Alongside the uplifting scents contained within the six body spray bottles, it is impossible to not be excited about them.

You’ll recognise this body sprays scent if you have ever tried the Lemony Flutter cuticle butter. I have used it in the past but never got round to reviewing it.

My nail lady will be very pleased to hear that I’ve just ordered another pot. I predict hydrated cuticles and another Lemony Flutter scented review happening in the not so distant future…

Ingredients wise, the Lemony Flutter body spray contains Sicilian lemon, chamomile blue oil, lavender oil and tagetes oil. It is a really unique scent.

I don’t think I have ever come across anything quite like it (from a cosmetics perspective) outside of Lush. It’s sweet, sharp but also has a sour sherbet layer to it too.

When you first apply it, it completely fools my brain into thinking that I am eating a sherbet lemon sweet; For anyone not familiar with sherbet lemons, they are a popular lemon flavoured boiled sweet that have a fizzy sherbet middle.

I find myself licking my lips every time I first come into contact with this body spray. With every spritz I am convinced that I am going to get a hit of tangy sherbet on my tongue.

Thanks to the tagetes oil in it, the Lemony Flutter body spray lasts for just over four or five hours on your skin and a little longer if it is sprayed on your clothes.

Once the fizziness of the body sprays scent has settled somewhat, other elements of the Lemony Flutter scent become more apparent. The only word I can think of to describe its settled scent is as hydrating; I understand you can’t really smell ‘hydration’ but it just really reminds me of being all lotioned up on a sunny holiday.

The Lush community were in desperate need of an influx of new perfume and body sprays. I’m going to be bold and say that I think Lemony Flutter is my favourite of the new exclusive body sprays currently available.

I’m actually surprised that Lush haven’t extended the Lemony Flutter scent family until now.

A very small amount of the Lemony Flutter body spray goes a very long way. It’s incredibly strong but not in a bad way.

The way the fragrance settles on you means I do like to spray it two maybe three times on myself which isn’t bad for a body spray. Just thinking of the body spray is making my mouth water, it’s that yummy!

Spring Bunny Bath Bomb from Lush

 Spring Bunny Bath Bomb.png

The Spring Bunny Bath Bomb is only available to buy as a single product in one place in the world, Lush’s flagship store in Oxford Street, London. (There are several Easter gift sets that it features in too!)

It is no secret that the citrus scented products are the ones I favour. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a lot of the new Easter stuff this year as so many of the products in this years line are citrus based.

Packed with Sicilian lemon oil, the Spring Bunny bath bomb makes for an excellent bath time product to use if you need to get up and go. Most Lush bath bombs are tennis ball shaped and lack the same intricate detail that Spring Bunny does. Shaped as an Easter bunny, it has a face, ears and little feet making it almost too cute to let go down the plug hole.

In size I’d compare it to the Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb.

Packed with uplifting and cleansing Sicilian lemon oil, Spring Bunny is the perfect Easter pick-me-up. A lot of people think that baths are a part of a night time ritual that helps you get off to sleep. This isn’t the case at all, the rich and zingy scent of Spring Bunny gives me such an energy and mood boost that I’d actually feel silly using it of a night.

Before I got my hands on the Spring Bunny bath bomb I expected it to be a very quick fizzer, I was very surprised as it lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. I am unsure of how long it actually takes to fully dissolve but comparing it to other bath bombs of a similar size it definitely puts on a ever so slightly longer show.

For design I give the Spring Bunny bath bomb top marks, simply because it’s so detailed.

I know of several people that haven’t been able to use their Spring Bunny bath bomb yet because it is so sweet to look at. Giving it a little nose, eyes, ears and dinky feet has made it so much more impressionable than the normal type of bath bomb, as said above, you just don’t want to let it all go down your plug hole never to be seen again.

Some have even said that the Spring Bunny bath bomb is like having a pet rabbit BUT a lot better as it smells like lemons, doesn’t need feeding and also doesn’t poop…

I however never get too attached to my bath bombs and threw this little guy in my bath as soon as I could.

What the Spring Bunny bath bomb lacks in size and variety of colours is well made up for with its uplifting and refreshing scent. As soon as I got into the bath I could feel the bath bombs cocoa butter, soothing and hydrating my tired, dry, winter skin. The Lemon scent stayed with me for the rest of the day too.

I have a few of this bath bomb in my personal Lush stock and I foresee some very energising baths in my very near future. For such a little bath bomb, Spring Bunny has quite the kick!
