The Snow Angel Choir Shower Jelly is a brand-new, limited-edition product from Lush’s 2024 Christmas line.
The Snow Angel Choir shower jelly is a warm, caramel gold colour and is in the shape of a singing angel. The angel is wearing typical choir clothes; A voluminous long gown, that is decorated with one giant gold star.
Each Snow Angel Choir shower jelly is 210g although, the one I have pictured in this review is the smaller 100g version that you get in the 2024 Refill advent calendar.
The Snow Angel Choir shower jelly contains some of the following ingredients: elderflower infusion, carrageenan extract, litsea cubeba oil, tonka absolute and vanilla absolute.
Snow Angel Choir’s scent is from the Super Milk Lush-scent-family. Most recently another limited edition item that came out with the same fragrance was the Super Milk shower gel.
Straight out of the pot the Snow Angel Choir shower jelly has a warm, sherbet like scent. It’s not an easy scent to describe as it has an almost fizziness to it. It’s one of the Lush scents you always go back to for an extra sniff.

With Snow Angel Choir being a novelty shaped shower jelly, I wondered how long it would last as unfortunately I find more often than not, that the novelty shaped jellies aren’t always as sturdy and robust as the normal, pot-shaped-ones.
As predicted, the 100g Snow Angel Choir shower jelly did get a little flimsy after just one use but I have heard the larger version that are for sale individually are a lot more robust.
Even when a shower jelly is a little flimsy, I’d rather use it and lose it than not use it at all… So far, I’ve used the 100g Snow Angel Choir shower jelly three times and although it is showing wear and tear, there’s plenty more of it to go around yet!
There is no right or wrong way to use a shower jelly, I prefer to use mine in the same way as you would a bar of soap, whole. Some people however chop their shower jellies up using a few pieces at a time, this is a good method if you’re sharing it with someone else.
Although, if you do keep it whole, it is big enough to fit in your hand making it a lot easier to keep a hold of in the shower. Once you’ve used it, simply rinse it off and then pop it back into the pot leaving it ready and waiting for you when you next want to use it.

The Snow Angel Choir shower jelly lathers up quickly, once you have enough of a lather work it in to your hands and body just like you would a soap or shower gel.
Before I ever use a Lush product that I plan on reviewing, I always take photos beforehand. When I take photographs of the shower jellies out of their pot, I place them onto a plate so that I can get a clear photo them (see photo 2). I hardly had any contact with the Snow Angel Choir shower jelly when doing this but could still smell it on my hands/wrists for the rest of the day.
You do not have to lather up the Snow Angel Choir for very long at all, a very small amount of it goes a long way. A trait I love in a Lush product!
As I stated earlier, The Snow Angel Choir shower jelly has quite a strong scent. As soon as you take the pots lid off, you are hit with its fragrance BUT in use, the scent intensifies so much more, filling your bathroom and drenching your skin with its warm and inviting fragrance.
After using the Snow Angel Choir shower jelly my skin feels silky smooth, warm, clean, and fresh.
Overall, I really enjoyed using the Snow Angel Choir shower jelly, it has such a strong and inviting fragrance that seems to work in whatever format Lush decide to release it in!
